Dr Alan Jacob working as Scientist B (Medical) at ICMR-NICHR has completed his Postgraduation in Community Medicine from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. His Postgraduate research work was in urban slum communities in the field of tuberculosis and other infectious diseases. Dr Alan currently focuses on implementation research to improve health care delivery in India. He aims to better understand the determinants of health and disease to help frame evidence-based strategies and policy.
