ICMR National Institute of Child Health Research (ICMR-NICHR) believes that the complexity of child health challenges demands a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach. The institute actively seeks partnerships with academic institutions, hospitals, government health programmes, international organisations, and the private sector to advance research, build capacity, and translate evidence into practice.
Clinical Partnerships

ICMR-NICHR's location near Safdarjung Hospital and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), enables close collaboration with one of India's largest public hospitals, offering access to diverse clinical populations and a platform for translational research. The institute plans to partner with medical colleges and district hospitals for multi-site studies.

National Research Collaborations

ICMR National Institute of Child Health Research (ICMR-NICHR) will collaborate with ICMR institutes, AIIMS, THSTI, IISER, IITs, and other national research institutions to undertake multi-disciplinary studies in child health. The institute participates in ICMR's Model Rural Health Research Units (MRHRUs) for community-based research.

International Partnerships

ICMR National Institute of Child Health Research (ICMR-NICHR) will engage with international partners, including WHO, UNICEF, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and leading global universities, to conduct collaborative research, share expertise, and contribute to the global evidence base for child health.
