Dr. Vineet Chaudhary

Dr. Vineet Chaudhary is a Scientist ‘B’ at the ICMR National Institute of Child Health Research (ICMR-NICHR), New Delhi. He holds a PhD and an MPhil in Anthropology from the University of Delhi. His work is interdisciplinary, situated at the intersection of anthropology and public health, with a focus on understanding health and developmental outcomes in young people within sociocultural contexts.

His research is grounded in a life-course perspective, with particular emphasis on early-life adversity, mental health, resilience, and socio-emotional development among adolescents and young adults. He is particularly interested in health patterns among socially and structurally vulnerable populations. Dr. Chaudhary has authored over 45 peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters in reputed national and international journals. He has previously been associated with the Centre for Health Services Studies (CHSS) and Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS), University of Kent, United Kingdom, in research roles. He is a recipient of the Research Publication Award from the University of Delhi.
