Ms. Reena Bhardwaj
Ms. Reena Bhardwaj is currently working as Scientist C (Biostatistics/Statistics) at the ICMR National Institute of Child Health Research (formerly ICMR–National Institute of Pathology), where I joined on January 18, 2023. She is presently pursuing Ph.D. in Medical Research from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) since August 2024.
She has expertise in data management and statistical analysis using the advance analytical methods, along with experience in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses. She also works on generating high-quality evidence to support public health research and evidence-based decision-making. Sha has actively contributed to capacity-building initiatives and coordinated a three-day JBI Comprehensive Systematic Review Training Program held in February 2026 at the institute. She is also involved in supervising short-term (2-6 months) training or dissertation programs conducted at the institution.
She is the Principal Investigator of an Intramural Ignition Grant Project entitled Identification of Risk Factors of Gallbladder Cancer and its Hotspot Mapping in Delhi NCR-A Pilot Study, reflecting her research interest in Epidemiology and GIS based spatial analysis”
In addition to her research responsibilities, she serves as a nodal team member of MRHRU Bhunga, Punjab, contributing to strengthening community-based research and public health outreach. She also has experience in national-level initiative, including contributions to the development of national database for National Registry of ART Clinics and Banks in India and the implementation of the Assisted Reproductive Technology Bill and its framework in India, enhancing my experience in multidisciplinary and policy-oriented research.
Her research interest includes epidemiology, application of advance statistical and geospatial methods in public health, with a particular focus on child health.
