Biostatistics and Epidemiology

The Facility specializes in Biostatistics, Statistical Analysis, Data Management, Systematic Review & Meta-analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). We are actively engaged in intramural and extramural research projects, contributing at every stage—from protocol development, study design, and tool creation to sampling strategies, statistical analysis, and advanced data interpretation.

We bridge the gap between research and practice by generating high-quality evidence that guides population-based health interventions, clinical decision-making, and public health policies. Collaboration is at the core of our work—we work closely with multidisciplinary teams from clinical, laboratory, and public health domains, manage project staff, and engage with funding agencies to ensure scientifically sound and evidence-based outcomes.

In addition, we are dedicated to capacity building through mentorship, targeted training and technical guidance in statistical methods, research methodology, and evidence synthesis, fostering excellence in data-driven population-based health research.
